The Greeks (Like Thales, Phytagoras, Xenopanes, Heraklitus, Parmenides, Zeno, Sokrates, Plato, Aristoteles, Demokritos, Epikuros, Diogenes, Marcus Tullius, Philo, Lucius Annaeus Seneca, Marcus Aurelius, Sextus Empiricus, Plotinus, Agustinus, Boethius, Anselmus, Thomas Aquinas, etc (at Yuana, 2010) approximately 600 BC have stated that education is helping man with the effort became man. There are two important words in that sentence, the first "help" and the second "man".

Humans need to be helped, in order become a human being. A person can be said has become a human being when he has value (the nature of) humanity. It shows that it is not easy being human. That's why? Long ago many people fail to be human. The purpose education is to educate the human beings. In order that goal can be achieved and the program can be structured human traits become the man should be clear.

What kind of human criteria into the educational goals? Surely, this will be determined by a philosophy of life of each person. The Greeks in a long time have specified three conditions to be called human. First, have the ability to control themselves; second, love of the homeland; third and knowledgeable (Tafsir, 2014).

Asy-Syaibani explained that education is an effort to form human behavior by instilling religious teachings and moral values in order to obtain happiness both as individuals and as members of the community in their life in the world and Hereafter (al I`dad li al-hayat ad-dunya wa al-akhirah). (Asy-Syaibani at Syabuddin Gade, 2011)

While, John Dewey said that education as a process to build of the fundamental basic skills, both related to cognitive (intellectual) and the power of feeling (emotional), toward human nature, through philosophy could also be interpreted as a general theory of education (Dewey at H.M. Arifin, 2000).

In his book, Democracy and Education, Dewey (2007) explained the objective of education, according to him, “The aim of education is to enable induviduals to continou their education or that the object and reward of learning is continued capacity for growth”. Dewey (2012) explains “education is process a continous process of growth, having as its aim at every stage and added capacity of growth”.

In the other hand, In entering the third millenium, human’s life has become progressive and complex. Education therefore, act as a process in preparing and improving the quality of human resource with Akhlaq Karimah/good manners. The developments and progresses in all areas produce some big social changes in human’s life. That development makes life become very modern and progressive. However, social changes causes retreatment in national morality, life’s convulsion, morality and society’s religions affairs, especially to the youth generation who genarate the new community (Karnaen et al, 2014).

To change the young generation that is useful to religion, homeland, and nation needed a place, a place to guide, nurture, and lead generation that will come to be a perfect man (Insan kamil (at Khanafi, 2010) and the place is educational institutions. Educational institution is an institution, media, forums, or certain situations and conditions that enable the implementation of the learning process, both structurally and in the tradition that has been created previously. The definition is based on the understanding that the whole process of human life is basically learning activities or education (Roqib, 2009).

Educational institutions basically have function with working on three regions of the human personality which he calledtaxonomy of education": establish the character and attitude (affective domain), developing knowledge (cognitive domain), as well as (psychomotoric) skills (Bloom at Topatimasang, 1998).

Taxonomy education or whatever the term, everybody would say in the same name, that an educational institution has obligation to educate humans to be character person, knowledgeable and skilled. Anyway, the institution have duties of building a person to be human in a real sense, the whole, because three basic dimensions that (character, knowledge and skills) that became typical dimension of humanity that distinguishes one's personal human with other creatures (Topatimasang, 1998).

Thus, one important of element in education is the moral values, the teaching of Islam is commonly referred to akhlaqul al-karimah, in the western world is called ethics. And In directing educational purposes can’t be separated from the three important aspects that must be considered, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.
